About
Most software needs a team: someone for the screens, someone for the systems behind them, someone for the servers. I do all three. That means fewer meetings, nothing lost between people, and one person who is accountable when something breaks.
The work has been varied on purpose. Making 380 million public records searchable in one place. A marketplace you book through by chatting. A 3D product viewer that runs inside a shop's website. Tools that other developers install and use every day.
Before going independent I spent over ten years inside product companies. Most recently I ran engineering at Oobit, where I led a 12-person team and replaced a huge ageing codebase without ever taking the product offline. Before that I led a team at Fireblocks, and earlier worked at Dynamic Yield and SAP.
I work from Israel and have an EU passport, so most time zones are easy to cover.
